Administrative Support and Assistance
As one of only thirteen operational health care networks (OHCN) in the country funded by the Bureau of Primary Care (BPHC), Central Oklahoma Integrated Network System, Inc. (COINS) supplies administrative and human resource management services to our members. These services include:

Corporate Compliance Plan Development
COINS can:
Provide you with a model or sample administrative and operation policies and procedures manual related to a compliance program and its elements (e.g., communication guidelines.
Help you develop plans and techniques by which you can audit and monitor your compliance with laws, regulations and policies.
Assist you in meeting the mandatory training requirements for:
Health Insurance Portability and Accessibility Act (HIPAA)
Depart of Labor (DOL)
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

Administrative Resources Evaluation and Assistance
COINS can assist you in risk assessment of personnel matters. This can include:
Placement and security of personnel files.
Help in developing written emergency plans and conduct emergency drills to test emergency preparedness.
Providing electronic templates for employee handbooks.
Producing multimedia, new employee orientation CDs customized for your facility.
Conducting Human Resource Network meetings to keep you abreast of ever-changing laws and requirements.

Credentialing Service
Failure to credential and privilege as required is not only dangerous from the standpoint of patient safety, but it can result in costly and burdensome litigation for health centers. COINS can help you avoid this problem by providing the following services:
Template for clear, written policies for credentialing.
Primary Source Verification.
Application completion and tracking.


Customized Training and Staff Development

COINS offers ongoing staff training and development programs providing experiential learning opportunities that develop skills in the following areas:
Leadership
Supervisory Skills
Computer Skills
Staff Wellness


Continuing Medical Education (CME)

In addition, COINS provides Continuing Medical Education (CME) through participation in Clinical Grand Rounds at a local Federally Qualified Health Center.
Currently, Clinical Grand Rounds are held bi-monthly on the third (3rd) Friday from 8:00AM to 10:00AM at Mary Mahoney Memorial Health Center, 12716 N.E. 36th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73140.
